Today I will make the definition, structure and examples of the explanation text.

💡 DEFINITION

Explanation Text is a text that serves to explain the process of an event or thing in detail, for example the occurrence of rain from water vapor or tsunamis and other events that have elements of natural, cultural, social and other events.

Contains a series of events (sequence of events) from a process which is the topic of the text. We can also explain by using the why and how questions, so that the explanation we convey is more comprehensive.

HOW RAIN IS FORMED

Rain has both good and bad influences. Rain cleans the air of pollution, it can also keep plants green. However too much rain can cause natural disasters such as floods and landslides. Do you know how rain is formed? There are many water sources such as oceans, lakes, rivers, etc. When the sun is shining, the heat will make the water evaporate. This "vapor" then rises as air (gas) flows from a place of high pressure to a place of low pressure. When steam is in the sky, it cools and changes form to water. This thick vapor will expand into a cloud. The clouds carried the air. When a cloud becomes too thick, gravity will slowly pull it down. The water drops fell and became rain.
