The Gucci Natural Hot Spring is the name of a tourist spot in Central Java. This tourist spot is famous because it has the charm of beautiful and natural landscapes and hot springs which have myths that can cure various diseases.
⛅ The History of Place
The Guci natural hot spring bath was officially opened in 1974. The origin of the Guci natural hot spring started from several related parties conducting research related to the existence of new water sources in this area. After it was proven safe, it was only in 2015 that the Guci bath was opened to the public. When it was not as popular as it is now, only the local community took advantage of the bath. In the past, there were no showers like now, some visitors still use the hot springs under the cave.

Based on the story of the local community, the history of the name Guci comes from the Walisongo era.
To spread Islam in western Central Java, especially around Tegal, a guardian was sent. The guardian is provided with water which is placed in a jar or teapot.
Walisongo
The people believed that the water in the jar could be nutritious, so they flocked to ask the wali. However, because the amount of water was limited, while the people asked for it so much, the wali then stuck his stick into the ground. When the wand was pulled out, miraculously from the hole where the stick was stuck, hot water flowed.
The hot water is still flowing and is used by the community as a bath. Then, the place became known as the jar. The incident is said to have occurred at midnight on Kliwon Friday Night. So, to this day on Friday Kliwon night, many people still come to the Guci to soak. They believe, if they do this their wish will come true.

Tegal Regency Guci Hot Spring is located in the province of Central Java, Indonesia. Precisely on Jl. Tourism Objects Guci, Canned, Sigedong, Bumijawa, Tegal, Central Java 52466.
The distance from the city center of Tegal is about 43 kilometers and can be reached in approximately 1 hour driving.
While regarding the route to Guci Tegal, you can pass the main route by starting the journey from downtown Tegal towards Purwokerto.
From Purwokerto, continue your journey towards Slawi and look for or stop after arriving at Lebaksiu sub-district.

Now in Lebaksiu district, to be precise at the Yomani T-junction, you will find a road sign that will direct you to the urn. The distance from this T-junction to the village of Guci is about 25 kilometers.

The entrance ticket to The Gucci Natural Spring is differentiated between children and adults, as well as weekdays and holidays. On weekdays, adults are charged Rp. 5000, and children are charged Rp. 4,500. That cost still has to be added with the cost of polish insurance.
During holidays Adults are charged Rp. 7,000, and children are charged Rp. 6,500. The cost must also be added with the cost of polish insurance.

Guci Hot Water Bath opens at 06.00 and closes at 21.00. The closing time is relatively late. This is because the distinctive beauty can be enjoyed at night.

Jedor Waterfall
The name Jedor Waterfall is said to have originated from the name of a village head, namely the Head of Jedor Village. This waterfall is located about 1 km above the public hot spring shower 13. Jedor waterfall has a height of about 15 m.
Like the Guci hot springs, Jedor Waterfall is also often visited by people for racing or seeking blessings. The ritual visit culminates in the night of Kliwon Friday. It is said that if you take a shower at midnight asking for something, any wish will be granted.
Twin Warm Waterfalls

The location of the Twin Waterfall is near the Waterboom. To reach the location, visitors must walk on a rather steep downhill road. Need to be a little careful because the road is quite slippery. After walking a few meters through the rice fields, visitors can reach the waterfall which has a height of about 5 meters.
Natural Hot Springs
In the Guci Tegal tour, there are two public baths. Each is named Pancuran 13 and Pancuran 7, according to the number of showers available.
The water that flows out of these showers is believed to have the power to cure various ailments, ranging from minor ailments such as skin diseases, to serious illnesses such as rheumatism.
